Research, Education, Training and Career Development (RETCD) Component

The RETCD Component addresses a key component of the CTSA mission - education and training of translational researchers. RETCD achieves this goal through a variety of professional development opportunities for faculty and trainees at all stages of their career through a grant (KL2) program, metored development program, mentored research experience (METEOR), workshops, seminars, online toolkits/learning management system (FACTS), non-academic certificates, and formal academic graduate programs, including a Master's degree and Graduate Certificates in Clinical and Translational Research (CTR) through The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences (SMHS).
