10th Annual Communities of Color Health Conference
This year's conference theme is “Us Too: A Health and Healing Movement for Women of Color.” The viral #MeToo movement has created a platform to address public health issues, such as sexual assault. However, the experiences of women of color are often silenced or unheard.
Through this conference, we hope to broaden the scope to include the perspectives of black women nationally and globally by shedding light on the disparities our communities face in regard to sexual assault, reproductive health/ justice, and trauma. This convening will provide a safe space for attendees to learn and engage in dialogue about these relevant public health topics, from a holistic approach, and to take collective action to healing in their respective communities and greater society.
Lite morning refreshments and boxed lunches will be provided. Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. Register here.
BPHSN would also like to invite you to participate in a panel discussion and reception on Thursday, February 21. Find more information and registration at this link.
