Writing Institute 2018-2019: Developing and Maintaining the Writing Habit

The Writing Institute is BACK for a second season!
ALL faculty and staff are invited.
WHAT:

The Writing Institute is designed to help YOU develop the habit of writing.

WHO:

Every month, a talented author from Children's National will describe how they made writing a habit.

WHEN:

We will meet the second Thursday of the month from 4:00 - 5:30 pm.

WHY:

Writing can be a difficult and lonely process. Having support and guidance can be just what you need to get your writing project published.

EVIDENCE:

Attendees at the last Writing Institute submitted several manuscripts for publication.

Interested?

Kavita Parikh, MD, is our first talented author of the 2018-2019 Writing Institute. Dr. Parikh will offer guidance and suggestions on how to make writing a habit. She will only speak for about 10-15 minutes so don't be late! After she has finished, you will be able to enjoy "protected writing time" in the Vision Center until 5:30 p.m.
