Children's National Travel Award

The AAMC (Association of American Medical Colleges) Early Career Women Faculty Leadership Development Seminar will take place July 27 - 30, 2019, at the Ritz-Carlton in St. Louis, Missouri. The Seminar includes workshops, small group discussions, and networking opportunities designed to support career advancement.

The Office of the CAO (Chief Academic Office) will support the attendance of one faculty person at the assistant professor level who plans to advance their academic career at CNMC. W@TCH (Women @ Children’s Hospital) leadership will review the candidate's submission and provides recommendations to Drs. Mark Batshaw and Stephen Teach. 

Please forward an updated CV and separate letter of intent detailing:

· Why attendance at this program is critical to your career development

· What you hope to gain from the seminar

· How you will use knowledge and skills gained to improve your division, your discipline

· How you will support female resident, fellow and faculty advancement through W@TCH
