The team is trained on a variety of statistical techniques from basic hypothesis testing to advanced modeling techniques. We also provide power and sample size calculations and will write the methods sections for your proposal submission or manuscripts. Often, presentation of results are built around the specification of the journal chosen for publication.
We primarily program in SAS, Stata, and R, and partner with Children’s and GW Informatics staff on Big Data analytic and reporting projects.
Proposal Development and Study Design
The BERD team is available to help you with your proposal development, which can include:
- Formulating aims and goals
- Hypothesis development
- Power and sample size calculations

- Critique and Review
We have also worked on a variety of study designs that you may want to develop. These include:
