In collaboration with Children's National Hospital pediatric residency program, this free introductory course highlights several areas of global health practice.

Core content:

  • Global Health Policy
  • Emergency Triage and Treatment
  • Ethics
  • Malaria
  • HIV

Contribution to the course include GHI and CNH core faculty, as well as locally based programs such as USAID, Save the Children Johns Hopkins, and local universities.

Designed for pediatric residents; however, all providers, students, and staff are welcome to attend. 

Note: The course is free, and anyone can attend. However, Children's National residents will be given priority. Additionally, participants only need attend the sessions they would like to; it is not required that they attend every session
